George Mason (27-24, 17-12 A-10) took the lead against La Salle (24-20, 8-21 A-10) junior starter Titus Shay in the bottom of the first.  Freshman third baseman Jackson Morse singled and moved to second on a passed ball, and senior shortstop Owen Clyne followed with run-scoring double to right-center to put the Patriots in front.  Sophomore left fielder Lucan Alberti bunted his way on to put runners on the corners and Clyne stole home to make it 2-0.

In the bottom of third, the Patriots sent nine batters to the plate and scored five runs on two hits, four walk and two errors to increase the lead to 7-0.  Morse, Clyne and Alberti each walked with one out to load the bases before Terilli had a two-run single, Butler a RBI-single and freshman second baseman Julius Bagnerise also plated a run.

The Patriots scored three more runs in the home half of the seventh against La Salla junior reliever Shawn Karpaitis.  Terilli drove in a run with a single, Blanchard had a RBI-groundout and Bagnerise plated the Patriots final run of the game with a sacrifice fly to make it 10-0.

The Explorers scored two runs on two hits in the eighth against Patriots graduate student Diego Cardenas and two runs on two hits in the ninth against George Mason graduate student Carter Kelsey for the 10-4 final score.

For the Patriots, Drumm (4-2) tossed 4.0 innings of one-hit ball to earn the win.  Redshirt-junior Owen Stewart pitched 2.0 innings and allowed one hit.
