The home team capitalized on two solo home runs from Tess Altevers Harris to clinch the win, while holding Howard to just one run over seven innings.

Howard responded in the fifth inning when Angel Riggins scored on a single by Aniyah Whipper, narrowing the gap to 2-1. However, the Patriots maintained their lead.

In the sixth inning, the Green & Gold capitalized on the Bison's errors. Jessica Chan, who pinch-ran for Kaleigh Friend, scored on a throwing error. Altevers Harris also reached on the error and later scored on Alyssa Hopkins' single, extending the lead to 4–1. That would prove to be the final run of the game.

Tess Altevers Harris led the team with a season-high three runs scored and two home runs. Alyssa Hopkins added two hits and one RBI, showcasing her consistency at the plate.
