FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's tennis team is set to begin postseason play at the Atlantic 10 Championship, traveling to USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., for a first-round matchup against No. 6 seed Rhode Island.

George Mason enters the tournament as the No. 11 seed, looking to make a postseason push after being selected 11th in the preseason poll. The Patriots will aim to carry momentum into the opening round as they take on Rhode Island under the lights in Orlando.
Maya Bayat leads the team with six dual singles victories this season and has also been a key contributor in doubles, tallying seven dual wins alongside partner Brooklyn Siegel.
