FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason track and field teams will host their first home outdoor meet of the season from Friday, April 3 through Saturday, April 4 at George Mason Stadium. Admission is free for all attendees. This year, the Patriots will welcome a strong slate of collegiate teams to Fairfax, including American, Binghamton, Catholic (D.C.), Coppin State, Georgetown, Howard (Md.) CC, Indiana (Pa.), Johns Hopkins, Marymount (Va.), Morgan State, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart, Salisbury, Shippensburg, St. Mary's (Md.), Towson, UMBC, and West Virginia. Atlantic 10 programs competing include Duquesne, Fordham, George Washington, and VCU. Unattached and amateur runners will also participate in the meet.
The Dalton Ebanks Invitational will span two days of competition. Events begin Friday, April 3 at 12 p.m. with the women's hammer throw, men's pole vault, women's high jump invitational, and men's and women's long jump. Competition will run late into the evening, concluding with the men's 5000m run—section one at 9:10 p.m. and section two at 9:30 p.m.
Action continues Saturday, April 4 at 10 a.m., beginning with the women's javelin throw, men's and women's triple jump, and men's discus throw. The day will conclude with the women's 1500m run at 8 p.m.
A complete meet schedule and performance list are linked and available online. The live results website will also provide real-time updates, allowing fans to follow the Patriots throughout both days of competition.
PATRIOT PARTY AT THE TRACK
On Saturday, April 4 at 5:30 p.m., there will be a break in competition for the George Mason Senior Recognition Ceremony. Join us for an unforgettable night at the track as we honor our seniors, close out the meet, and bring the energy for Patriot Party at the Track! Admission is free for all fans. Come out and help us celebrate our seniors as they take their final lap!

The Patriots turned in a strong showing at the Raleigh Relays, competing against elite national competition over three days in Raleigh, N.C. Ella Semple headlined the weekend by breaking the outdoor school record in the women's 5000m with a historic 15:58.44—the first sub-16 mark in program history. With her performance, she earned Atlantic 10 Women's Track Performer of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. Abby Weening opened her season with an outdoor-best 1.72m clearance in the high jump, earning A-10 Women's Field Performer of the Week recognition. In the men's pole vault invitational, Walt Bannerman cleared a season-best 5.27m to place third at the meet, earning A-10 Men's Field Performer of the Week honors. Kennedy Drish recorded the top finish among Patriots, placing second in the women's pole vault invitational with a 4.21m clearance. Across events, the Patriots posted multiple conference-leading marks and personal bests, highlighting a deep and well-rounded performance for the Green and Gold.
