FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University rowing team will welcome a host of regional programs to the Occoquan for the annual Mason Invitational on Sunday at Sandy Run Regional Park.
 
The Patriots will race alongside crews from Loyola (Md.), Monmouth, Robert Morris, Catholic and Thomas Jefferson. A-10 programs Fordham and Saint Joseph's also will take to the water.
 
Competition will include 2V4+, V4+, 2V8+ and V8+ formats. Heats begin at 12:30 p.m., while petite and grand finals commence at approximately 2:10 p.m.
