FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason softball (22–18, 9–9 A-10) is set to host Mount St. Mary's (13–23, 9–7 MAAC) at the GMU Softball Complex on Wednesday, April 15. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. and admission is free for all attendees.

Over the weekend, George Mason went 2–1 to secure an Atlantic 10 series win against Saint Louis. The Patriots opened the series with a 3–2 victory before the Billikens responded with a 4–1 win in Game 2. George Mason closed the series with a 4–2 come-from-behind victory in the finale.
Abbey Lane delivered a standout two-way performance in the circle and at the plate. In Game 1, she recorded a career-high eight strikeouts in a complete-game effort, earning her 10th win of the season. At the plate, Lane came through in Game 3—her third-inning double sparked the offense, and she later scored to put the Patriots on the board. In the sixth inning, she added a sacrifice fly to drive in the final run of the game.
Over the three games, Logan Pickford hit .429 with a .556 on-base percentage, totaling three hits, one run, and one RBI. Alyssa Hopkins continued her strong freshman campaign, adding three hits and an RBI in the series.
