FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason softball (15–17, 4–8 A-10) is set to host the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (9–23, 1–8 MEAC) at the GMU Softball Complex on Wednesday, April 1. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m., and admission is free for all attendees.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The Hawks are coming off a three-game sweep by conference opponent Morgan State, falling 4–1, 9–1 (6 innings), and 7–2. The Patriots lead the all-time series against UMES with a 5–2 record. Across the three games, Elyssa DeRosa led the team with a .375 batting average and a .625 slugging percentage, recording three hits, two doubles, and one RBI. Maddie LeMasters continued her strong freshman campaign, totaling two runs, two RBIs, one double, and her third career home run.
