Fairfax, Va. – The George Mason golf program is set to host the Babygrande Golf 6
th annual Donald Ross Collegiate Classic March 9-11 in Southern Pines, N.C.
As part of the sponsorship, Babygrande Golf will produce a live video stream of the tournament on YouTube, it's second year coverage of the event. The company will distribute and market content across its in-house network, which reaches approximately one million followers across multiple social media platforms, including @gonegolfingtv, @bunkersplash, @golfermoments, @babygrandegolf, @babygrandesports, and @topgolfershere.
The 20-team field ties the largest in the history of the tournament. The event is a three-day tournament featuring three rounds at the par-72 Mid Pines Golf Club, the historic original Donald Ross course. Monday and Tuesday's format will be 18 holes with tee times beginning at 8:05 am. The final round on Wednesday will feature tee times starting at 8:05 am on holes #1 and #10.
As we celebrate Women's History month, the Patriots selected the venue that was owned by Peggy Kirk Bell from 1954-2016 when she passed at the age of 95. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame and has been awarded almost every major honor in golf. The sister course Pine Needles Golf Club hosted its fourth US Women's Open in 2022.
