George Mason fell to the University of Delaware as the Blue Hens swept singles play. At No. 1 singles, Delaware's Tobey Lock edged
Deniz Okyay in a three-set match, 3-6, 7-6(7), 10-7. Blue Hen Federico Garbero followed with straight sets win at No. 2 singles, defeating
Monil Lotlikar, 6-3, 6-3.
At No. 3 singles, Itamar Tapiro overcame
Ekansh Kumar in a competitive three-set battle, 6-4, 2-6, 10-6. At No. 6 singles, Delaware's Mason Robins completed the sweep with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over
Adria Franco.
After Delaware clinched the match win, Pere Prat and
Edgar Vilain's match at No. 5 singles was left unfinished with Prat leading 6-3, 5-7, 0-2.
Niza Simunyola's match against Euan Mackenzie was also left unfinished, with Mackenzie leading 7-5, 6-7(7), 6-4.
