BROOKVILLE, N.Y. -- The George Mason women's lacrosse team heads north to face Long Island University on Monday at 1 p.m. in Brookville, N.Y.

In 2025, Long Island finished 12-7 overall and 8-1 in NEC play, winning their second straight NEC Championship. The Sharks were unanimously picked to finish first in the NEC Preseason Poll. On the field, the Sharks return five all-conference players from last season's roster:
Julia Trainor (Midfielder of the Year, first team),
Lindsey Lucia (second team),
Selia Lyons (second team),
Erin Harkins (second team), and
Catherine Batterberry (all-rookie).
