Tate Anderson has been selected to the Atlantic 10 Men's Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Friday.
Anderson, a clinical science major from Fuquay-Varina, N.C., won seven medals at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championships, with three individual (A-10 title in 200 IM, silver in both 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle) and four relay medals (two gold, silver, bronze).
Anderson won the A-10 Championship in the 200-yard IM (1:44.78) and claimed the silver medal in both the 100-yard freestyle (42.79) and 200-yard freestyle (1:34.12). He also helped the Patriots win gold and set a new A-10 and program record in the 800-yard freestyle relay (6:23.83), and also won gold in the 400-yard medley relay (3:08.34), silver in the 400-yard freestyle relay (2:53.98) and bronze in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:18.51).
During the season, Anderson recorded 21 top three performances during the season, with 11 first-place, nine second place and one third place finishes. At the U.S. Open Championships, he competed in three events and placed 21st in the Finals of the 200 L Freestyle (1:52.81), and also competed in the 50 L Freestyle and 100 L Freestyle.
