WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Atlantic 10 has been named senior Kate Anders the women's lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week of February 9. 

Kate Anders delivered two standout offensive performances this week, totaling 15 points across wins over Radford and Youngstown State. Over the two games, Anders averaged 4.0 goals, 3.5 assists and 7.5 points per contest while shooting .571 from the field and putting 64.3 percent of her shots on goal, pacing the offense in both outings. She also totaled 10 draw controls of the two games. 

In the 12-7 victory against Radford on Feb. 13, she tallied five goals and four assists for nine points, which etches her name in the GMU lacrosse record box for second most points in a game.

She followed that effort on Feb. 15 at Youngstown State with three goals and four assists for seven points, placing four of her five shots on target. She also tallied eight draw controls. 

The Patriots went 2-0 this week, bringing their season record to 2-2. They'll face the William & Mary Tribe on Saturday, February 21 at 1 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
