ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The George Mason women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Navy in Annapolis, Md.
 
George Mason women's tennis traveled to Annapolis, Md. to face Navy at the Tose Faily Tennis Center. The Patriots ultimately fell to the Midshipmen 7-0.

In doubles play, Navy set the tone early by earning a 6-0 victory over sophomore Maya Bayat and junior Brooklyn Siegel. To earn the doubles point, Navy's Emma Gu and Nicole Fu went on to defeat Patriots Cenan Liu and Mary Young, 6-1. To wrap up doubles play, Junior Noella Talarek and sophomore Ravaka Noemie Ramanantoanina earna victory at No. 3 with a 6-3 victory. 

At the No. 5 and No. 4 singles spots, Talarek and Young were both defeated 6-0, 6-1. Navy's Ji Soo Oh earned another point for the Midshipmen with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Ramanantoanina. Liu and Bayat dropped their matches at No. 1 and No. 3 with identical 6-3, 6-1 scores. In the final match, Olivia Fermo defeated Maitree Diksha Rout 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2.
