In 2025, Youngstown State completed its season with an overall 7-8 record and a 2-4 record in the MAC. The Penguins were slated seventh in the 2026 MAC preseason poll. Top goal scorer Ava Kreutzer (24 goals) and goalkeeper Brooke Harper (69 saves, 10 starts) return for Youngstown State.
