Patriots Return to the St. James to Host Radford

FAIRFAX, Va. -- The George Mason women's lacrosse team returns home to face Radford at the St. James on Friday, February 13, at 2 p.m. in Springfield, Va.
 
This is the fourth match-up between the Patriots and the Highlanders. The Patriots lead the all-time series between the two teams 3-0. In their last meeting on February 9, 2025, George Mason defeated Radford 16-11, where Giselle Torain opened the scoring for the Patriots. Returning players Kate Anders and Peyton Farley each delivered hat tricks, while Kaitlyn Bestick and Daniella Jimenez tallied two goals each, adding to the dominant win against the Highlanders.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Last season, Radford finished 2-14 overall and 0-8 in Big South play. The Highlanders were picked to finish seventh in the conference's 2026 preseason poll. Top goal scorers Mady Cheney (35 goals) and Maddy Driscoll (23 goals) return for the 2026 season. Goalkeeper Ava LaManna also returns after starting 15 of 16 games last season and recording 180 saves.
