FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason Women's Tennis Head Coach Steve Curtis announced the addition of Ravaka Noemie Ramanantoanina, a transfer from Averett University to the Patriots' roster.

"I am excited to have Ravaka joining our team for the spring," said Curtis. "She should be a big contributor and add depth to the lineup."

Ramanantoanina, a sophomore from Antananarivo, Madagascar, comes to George Mason after completing her freshman season at Averett University. 

In 2025, she was named the ODAC Rookie of the Year and earned All-ODAC Second Team honors while competing at No.1 Singles and No.2 Doubles. She was also selected to the VaSID All-State First Team in singles and the VaSID All-State Second Team in doubles.

Prior to Averett University, Ramanantoanina attended Lycée Français d'Antananarivo in Madagascar, where she competed at the national level and was the 2023 Madagascar National Champion.
