Fairfax, Va. -- The George Mason women's tennis team is set to open the 2025-26 campaign at the 16th Annual Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational this weekend. This marks the fourth straight year the Patriots opened their season at the local tournament played in Annapolis, MD.
The Patriots will compete against individuals from seven teams at the Fluegel-Moore Tennis Stadium and Tose Family Tennis Center this weekend, as tournament action starts up Friday at noon. Competition on Saturday and Sunday is slated to begin at 9 a.m.
The Competition
The line-up at the Moore Invitational includes Binghamton, Fairleigh Dickinson, George Mason, Lehigh, Mary Washington, Monmouth, Navy, and St. Bonaventure. Seven of the eight teams also attended the 2024 edition of the Moore Invitational.
