Fairfax, Va. - The George Mason women's tennis team travels to the University of Maryland this weekend to compete in the Bedford Cup in College Park, Maryland.
Tournament Information
Since 2016, the Bedford Cup Mid-Atlantic Championships has been held in College Park. The event features top intercollegiate female players from NCAA Division I programs.
The teams competing in the Bedford Cup include Coppin State, Delaware State,
George Mason, George Washington, Johns Hopkins, Loyola (MD), Maryland, Morgan State, Norfolk State, VCU, and West Virginia

2024 Bedford Cup Results
The Patriots finished with a winning record in singles matches, 15-11, led by a Flight 5 championship by
Maya Bayat with a 3-0 record.
Mary Young and
Shivaani Ganesh both finished with a 2-1 singles record. In doubles action, two George Mason teams finished 2-2;
