FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason starting pitcher
Connor O'Hara has signed as a free agent with the Cincinnati Reds.
O'Hara, from Davie, Fla., led the Patriots in starts (16), complete games (2), innings pitched (89.2), ERA (2.81), shutouts (2) and strikeouts (86) in 2025. He finished the season with a 7-4 record and held opponents to a .228 batting average.
O'Hara was selected Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team Starting Pitcher. He was named the conference's Pitcher of the Week on March 17 for his complete-game, five-hit shutout victory over Dayton.
Among Atlantic 10 leaders. O'Hara ranked second in ERA (2.81), third in both opponent batting average (.228) and innings pitched (89.2), tied for third in wins (7) and was fourth in strike outs (86). He finished the regular season ranked 46th in the NCAA in earned run average (2.98).
