FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason University men's tennis student-athletes Ekansh Kumar, Monil Lotlikar and Jacco Arends have been recognized with Atlantic 10 Postseason Awards, the league office announced Monday.
 
Kumar, a junior, earned a spot on the All-Atlantic 10 First Team, while Lotlikar, a junior, is an All-A-10 Second Team pick. Arends, a senior, garnered a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team. It's the third time in as many seasons Lotlikar has been named to the All-A-10 Second Team while Arends is now a two-time A-10 All-Academic selection.
 
Kumar is George Mason's first All-A-10 First Team selection since Eddie Ayers in 2019. The transfer from Indiana University starred for the Green & Gold this season while compiling a 12-8 mark overall in singles, including five dual wins at the No. 1 position. He posted nine overall doubles wins, primarily at No. 1. His doubles wins included victories against James Madison, Saint Joseph's and Duquesne.
 
Lotlikar continues to rack up the hardware while tallying his third-consecutive All-Atlantic 10 accolade. The Bangalore, India, product led George Mason in overall dual singles wins (7) and went 3-1 in A-10 singles at No. 2. His A-10 singles victories including wins against VCU, Saint Joseph's and Duquesne. On the season, Lotlikar went 2-0 at No. 1 singles and also picked up four dual wins at No. 1 doubles.
 
Arends earns his second-consecutive A-10 All-Academic selection after putting together an exemplary season both on and off the court. The Netherlands native graduated from George Mason this past week with a degree in economics and a 4.0 cumulative GPA. On the court, Arends went 2-1 in A-10 at No. 2 doubles, which included a win over VCU. He competed for the Patriots at No. 2 and No. 3 singles throughout the season and racked up 14 victories on the campaign.
