BRONX, N.Y. – The George Mason Patriots dropped their third game against Fordham, 4-3

Freshman
Abbey Lane started in the circle today. She pitched 6.1 innings and gave up six hits and three runs. She had four walks and four strikeouts.
In the top of the first inning, the Patriots scored two runs off two hits.
Tess Altevers Harris doubled to left center, and
Logan Pickford singled through the left side, making it 2-0.
The Rams tied the game in the bottom of the fourth inning. Neleh singled to the pitcher, Wells walked, and Koratsis reached on a fielding error, scoring two runs.
George Mason scored the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning.
Logan Pickford singled through the left side, and
Emily Lampela doubled to right-center field, scoring Pickford making it 3-2.
Jordan Anderson (1-4) stepped into the circle in the middle of the seventh inning. She pitched 0.2 innings and gave up two hits and one run. She walked two batters.
Fordham was able to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning. Sudall was hit by a pitch, and Hoppe singled up the middle. Spinelli came in as a pinch runner and scored off a wild pitch.
In extra innings,
Tess Altevers Harris singled through the left side, and
Logan Pickford walked. Both runners were ultimately left on base.
The Rams Sydney Wells stepped up in the bottom of the eighth and doubled down the right field line and Eva Koratsis stepped up and hit a walk-off double to give Fordham a 4-3 win.
