AMHERST, Ma. - The Patriots will travel north to take on the UMass Minutewomen in their final game of the 2025 season on Saturday, April 26, at 12 p.m. The game will be livestream on ESPN+.

George Mason and UMass are 0-10, historically. This will be the final matchup between these programs in conference play as the Minutewomen will depart for the MAC next season.

SCOUTING THE MINUTEWOMEN

UMass enters the final weekend of the 2025 regular season with a 12-3 overall record and a perfect 9-0 mark in conference play. They have been strong both at home and on the road, compiling a 6-1 record at Garber Field and a 6-2 mark away from home. The Minutewomen have proven especially dominant in conference competition, with a clean sweep of Atlantic 10 opponents. Offensively, they average 16.80 goals per game on 37.6 shots, with a team shooting percentage of .447 and a .729 shots-on-goal rate. They've also capitalized on 40.2% of their free position opportunities. UMass shows strong ball control and possession capabilities, leading opponents in draw controls (260 to 188), ground balls (286 to 181), and causing 170 turnovers while committing just 190.

On the individual side, Kassidy Morris leads the team in scoring with 65 goals and 83 points, followed by Delaney Rodriguez-Shaw (38 goals, 29 assists) and Tessa Shields (44 goals). Ava Connaughton adds balance with 37 goals and 25 assists. On the draw circle, Jordan Dean has been the standout with 164 draw controls. Defensively, UMass has limited opponents to 10.53 goals per game and holds a clear advantage in shot totals and on-target attempts. Goalie Catrina Tobin has played nearly every minute in net, making 101 saves with a .401 save percentage. Overall, UMass demonstrates depth across the board with a statistically dominant season on both ends of the field.
