Abbey Lane (5-7) made her 12^th start today in the circle for the Patriots. She pitched a complete game, giving up four hits and one run. She recorded one walk and one strikeout.
 
The Patriots scored first in the top of the second inning off one hit. Charlotte Montgomery walked and stole second. She advanced to third on a flyout by Emily Lampela. Kaitlyn Bronowicz singled to third, scoring a run.
 
George Mason kept the energy up in the top of the third, scoring two runs off two hits and one Mountaineer error. Tess Altevers Harris hit her seventh triple of the year to right-center, and Jasmine Mack singled to shortstop. Elyssa DeRosa and Kamryn Inman hit sacrifice flies to score a run.
 
In the top of the sixth inning, the Patriots recorded three more hits, scoring two runs. Charlotte Montgomery singled to shortstop, Emily Lampela doubled to left-center field, and Tess Altevers Harris singled to left field.
 
Maddy Johnson made an appearance as a pinch runner for Kaitlyn Bronowicz, who reached first on a fielding error.
 
George Mason scored one more run in the top of the seventh. Elyssa DeRosa singled to shortstop, Jasmine Mack reached on a fielding error, and Emily Lamepla singled to center field.
 
The Mountaineers scored their only run of the game in the bottom of the seventh. Brianna Manni homered to left field.
