FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason softball team travels to Emmitsburg, Maryland for a single game against Mount St. Mary's.
 
A LOOK AT THE PATRIOTS
This past weekend the Patriots traveled to Saint Louis, Missouri for a three-game conference series against the Saint Louis Billikens.
 
The Billikens took game one 7-0. In game two, the Patriots were up 6-1 going into the bottom of the fourth and then Saint Louis out hit George Mason 7-0, hitting a walk-off home run to secure the win. The Patriots dropped game three 3-2.
 
Logan Pickford hit her sixth home run in game two. She had three hits, two runs, and three RBIs through the weekend.
 
Charlotte Montgomery recorded two hits, one run and one RBI. Jasmine Mack came in and recorded one hit. Emily Lampela recorded a double and Tess Altevers Harris recorded one hit and two runs.
 
As a team, the Patriots are ranked first in the Atlantic 10 for total stolen bases (79), and stolen bases per game (1.68). George Mason ranks first in triples  (17), ranking them 10th in the nation.


SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
 
Mount St. Mary's University
2025 record: 9-33, 4-17 MAAC
The Mountaineers are coming off a 1-2 series loss against Siena.
 
Tristin Koerner leads the team with a .292 average. She has 26 hits and 15 RBIs. She is ranked 7th in the MAAC for doubles (11) and thirds for doubles per game (0.34)
 
Brianna Manni is second on the team with a .271 average, recording 32 hits and 10 runs.
 
Sophia Schmehl is fourth in the MAAC for pitching appearance (24) and hit batters (4).
 
Kelsie Bandelow is first in the conference for assists (107) and assists per game (2.61)
 
As a team, the Mountaineers are fourth in the MAAC for sacrifice bunts (28), fifth for stolen bases (38), and third for hits allowed per seven innings (9.28)

The Patriots are home for the final time this regular season this weekend for a three-game series against Loyola Chicago.
