Patriots Record Personal Bests across all Three Meets

Fairfax, Va.- George Mason have competed strongly in all three meets with many new additions to the all-time list and others recording personal best. The A10 Outdoor Championship is two weeks away which will be hosted by George Mason in Fairfax, Va.
 
The Navy Spring Invitational was witness to Alina Florou Dimitriadou's pole vault performance. Alina reached a new mark of 4.06m placing her in 2nd in the GMU all-time list. Abby Weening showed her talent by finishing first in the long jump (5.24m) and first in the 100m hurdles (14.26). Brody Myers represented the men's pole vault team with a mark of 4.66m and finishing in second in his event.
 
The Aggie Classic had many great performances by many athletes from both days. Mia Suero competed in three different events and recording personal bests in every event. Her time of 11.71 in the 100m was 0.01 second away from reaching the all-time list. Mia also had a personal best in the 200m with a time of 24.29. The teamwork of Mia Suero, Sierra Matheson, Kailynn Tyson, and Susan Adenitan in the 4x100m relay made history with a time of 45.38 and placing 3rd in the all-time list. There haven't been any new additions to the 4x100m relays list since 2015. 
 
Ashton King ran a 10.49 race in the 100m to place him 9th all-time for George Mason. Davian Burke also had his name in the spotlight with a new personal best in the 110m hurdles (13.87) and claiming the 7th spot all-time. 
 
In the field events, Cameron Portis shined in the discus throw with a mark of 49.75m. His new mark has him moving up from 10th to 7th in the all-time list for George Mason. 
 
At the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational had Kenzie Dillman reach a new personal best in the 1500m with a time of 4:30.21. Nourene Nabbus also competed in the same event and reached a new personal best as well. Nourene completed the course with a new time of 4:44.44. 
 
Up next:

George Mason will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. for the prestigious Penn Relays. The Penn Relays will be a three day meet starting on April 24th and concluding on April 26th
