SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – The George Mason Patriots dropped game one against Saint Louis 7-0.

Jordan Tallman started in the circle for the Patriots today. She pitched 3.0 innings and gave up two hits and four runs. She recorded two walks and two strikeouts.
Emily Lampela doubled to center field in the top of the third for the Patriots' first hit of the night. She was ultimately left on base.
Saint Louis scored first in the bottom of the third inning. They scored four runs off two hits and two errors. Johnson singled to center field, Marietta reached on a fielding error, and Jany reached on a throwing error, scoring one unearned run.
Mallo hit a sacrifice fly, scoring another run, and Kaniecki singled to left field, scoring two more runs, making it 4-0.
Harlowe Nigh came in to pitch in the bottom of the fourth. She pitched 1.1 innings and gave up two hits and two runs. She recorded one walk.
Haleigh Dellow made an appearance in the circle in the middle of the fifth inning. She pitched 1.2 innings and gave up one hit and one run. She recorded two walks and one strikeout.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Billikens scored two more runs off two hits. Ulsas walked, and Sullivan singled to center field, scoring one run. Kaniecki doubled to right center, scoring another run, making it 6-0.
Saint Louis kept things going in the bottom of the sixth, scoring one run off one hit. Two batters walked and advanced on a wild pitch. Mallo singled to left field, scoring a run, making it 7-0
Logan Pickford recorded a single to left center in the top of the seventh inning but was left on base.
