BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Play was suspended in the middle of the second round due to weather in the Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia, on Monday.

The second round will resume at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday with the third round scheduled to begin immediately after the completion of the second round.

George Mason' is currently in 12th place in the 18-team field. Golfers Samir Davidov and Vaughn McMeans lead the team at the halfway point of the tournament tied for 33 out of 100 golfers.

George Mason has competed in the Mountaineer Invitational twice previously, finishing 11th in April 2021 and improving to 8th in the October 2021 edition.
