FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason softball team hosts the Saint Joseph's Hawks this weekend for a three-game series.
A LOOK AT THE PATRIOTS
The Patriots played the Georgetown Hoyas this past Wednesday and dropped the game 5-3.
Jasmine Mack led the team with two hits and two runs and recorded two stolen bases.
Tess Altevers Harris and
Emma Salzman recorded a hit and Salzman had two RBIs.
Jordan Tallman came in to pitch in the top of the fifth and earned here 100
th career strikeout while tying a career-high of six strikeouts.
As a team, the Patriots are ranked first in the Atlantic 10 conference for triples (15), ranking them ninth nationally. They rank third in the conference for runs batted in (161) and second for ERA (3.46)
Kamryn Inman is ranked second in the A-10 in stolen bases (18) and third for stolen bases percentage (0.900).
Tess Altevers Harris is third in the conference for slugging percentage (0.682) and triples per game (0.13).
Elyssa DeRosa is ranked first in the Atlantic 10 and sixth in the nation for triples (6)
Emily Lampela is first in the conference for hit-by-pitch (8)
