Lucas Alberti hit a pair of home runs and graduate student starting pitcher
Connor O'Hara struck out a dozen batters to lead the Patriots to a 14-5 win in the second game of the series against the Bonnies at Handler Park in St. Bonaventure, N.Y.
THE LEADOFF
O'Hara struck out a season-high 12 batters over 5.0 innings to earn his third straight win.
Alberti hit a two-run home run and a solo home run for three RBI and scored three runs.
Graduate student designated hitter
Sam Lavin hit his first home run as a Patriot, drove in two runs and scored three times.

Owen Clyne had three hits and scored two runs.

Jonny Wall followed with a two-run single up the middle to increase the lead to 7-0.
While the Patriots built the lead, O'Hara struck out the side in the first, third and fourth inning.
The Bonnies got on the board in the bottom of the fourth with a two-run home run to make the score 7-2.
The Patriots sent nine batters to the plate in the fifth inning and scored five runs on three hits and two errors.
With one out, Alberti smashed his third home run of the season over the left field fence to extend the lead to 8-2. Clyne then singled and stole both second and third, and Wall was issued a free pass and stole second. Clyne raced home on a passed ball and Lavin plated a run with a single through the right side to pad the lead to 10-2.
The inning continued when Hueber reached on fielder's choice and Hull dropped down a sacrifice bunt to put a pair of runners in scoring position. Quinn-Irons then reached on an error, with two runs crossing the plate to make it a 12-2 game.
In the top of the seventh, Lavin hit a leadoff home run to left-center for his first home run in a George Mason uniform. Hueber followed with a triple and Hull drove in a run with a ground out to build the advantage to 14-2.
The Patriots have scored at least 11 runs in three of their four games during their winning streak.
St. Bonaventure scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth for the 14-5 final score.

For the Bonnies, James (0-3) surrendered 10 runs, nine earned, on nine hits in 4.1 innings and took the loss. Senior Kade Walker gave up four runs, two earned, on six hits in 4.2 innings.
Alberti went 3-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored. Lavin was 4-for-4 with a walk, home run, two RBI and three runs scored. Hueber had a triple and scored three runs. Hull, Quinn-Irons and Wall each drove in a pair of runs.
The Patriots and Bonnies wrap up the series on Sunday afternoon with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. at Handler Park in St. Bonaventure, N.Y.
