LOUISIANA, La. – The George Mason softball team dropped both games on Saturday to finish up the last day at the Louisiana Classic in Lafayette, La. The Patriots dropped their first game against Longwood 5-7 and later lost to Louisiana Lafayette 9-1.

The Lancers scored their last three runs of the game in the top of the third inning to take the lead 7-4. The rest of the game was quiet from both teams until the Patriots scored one more run in the sixth inning.

In the second game of the day, the Patriots started
