HAMPTON, Va. – Senior
Ali Tyler set a new conference and team record, while junior
Tate Anderson set a new program record in the 200-yard IM on the second day of competition at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships on Thursday at the Hampton Aqualex in Hampton, Va.
The George Mason men's team is second with 177 points and the Patriots' women's team is seventh with 117 points.
On the women's side, George Washington leads with 256 points, with Richmond second (228) and Duquesne third (182). Fordham is fourth (150) followed by Davidson (121), La Salle (121), George Mason (117), St. Bonaventure (96), Massachusetts (94), Rhode Island (55) and Saint Louis (40).

In the 200-yard IM, Tyler won the gold with an Atlantic 10 Conference and program-record time of 1:57.37. She has claimed at least one individual gold medal in each of the last four A-10 Championships.

Emma DeJong placed sixth in the championship final of the event (2:02.33)

In the consolation final for the 50-yard freestyle, junior
Peyton Brehmer finished sixth (23.38).

Hannah Magdeburg, Tyler and Brehmer just missed the podium with a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:32.06).
On the men's side, George Washington has the lead with 342 points, with George Mason second (177) and La Salle (159) and St Bonaventure (159) are tied for third. Davidson is fifth (158), Massachusetts sixth (128), Fordham seventh (121) and Saint Louis eighth (84).

In the 200-yard IM, Anderson claimed the silver medal for the second straight year with a second-place finish (1:44.29). He won a medal in the event for the third straight year.

Alex Crown won the bronze with a time of 4:25.74. He placed fourth in the event a year ago. In the consolation final of the event, sophomore
Cody Scifres took the top spot (4:30.37).

In the consolation final of the 50-yard freestyle, Roberts touched the wall first (20.07).

Christian Anderson placed eighth in the championship final of the one-meter diving event with a score of 247.70.

The Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships continue on Friday, with the preliminaries scheduled for 10 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.
