FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's lacrosse team continues its early-season schedule with a home matchup against American University on Wednesday, February 19. The opening draw is set for 12:00 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
George Mason and American are 18-5 historically. In their last matchup, the Eagles fended off a late push from the Patriots to win, 11-10. American enters Wednesday's matchup with a 1-2 record, having most recently suffered a 17-4 setback against No. 16 Loyola (Md.) on February 15. The Eagles earned their first win of the season on February 11 with an 18-7 victory over Howard.
