2026 GEORGE MASON SOFTBALL SCHEDULE
FAIRFAX, Va. - George Mason Softball head coach Justin Walker announced the Patriots' 2026 schedule Saturday afternoon, a 55-game slate that includes 31 games at George Mason Softball Field, 24 contests against Atlantic 10 opponents, and five games against three teams that earned an NCAA Tournament Regional appearance last season.
Admission to all regular season home games is free for the 2026 season.
Mason opens the season on the road competing at the Charleston Invitational. The Green and Gold will open play at Patriots Point Athletics Complex on Feb. 6 against Central Michigan and the College of Charleston, followed by matchups with Marist and Charleston Southern at CSU Softball Field on Feb. 7. George Mason returns to Patriots Point on February 8 to face St. John's.
The Patriots will open their home schedule at George Mason Softball Field by hosting two tournaments. They welcome Morehead State and Cornell on Feb. 13–15, next welcoming Hofstra and Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 21–22.
George Mason will then travel to Greenville, S.C. for the Paladin Invitational to face Seton Hall (Feb. 27 & March 1), Furman (Feb. 28), and Winthrop (Feb. 28) at Pepsi Stadium.
The Patriots return home to Fairfax for a midweek matchup against Georgetown (March 3) before kicking off their home Atlantic 10 slate with a series versus Fordham (March 7-8). A double-header against UMASS Lowell (March 11) rounds out the team's six-game homestand.
George Mason continues Atlantic 10 conference play with multiple three-game matchups: at George Washington (March 14–15; Arlington, Va.), at Saint Joseph's (March 21–22; Philadelphia, Pa.), hosting Dayton (March 28–29), at St. Bonaventure (April 3–4; Olean, N.Y.), and hosting Saint Louis (April 11–12). Midweek nonconference games provide breaks in the Patriots' A-10 schedule, with home contests against Lafayette (March 17), James Madison (March 25), and UMES (April 1), and a road trip to Towson (April 7; Towson, Md.).
The Patriots wrap up the nonconference regular season games with Mount St. Mary's at home (April 15), a road doubleheader at Villanova (April 18; Philadelphia, Pa.), and home matchups against Hampton (April 21) and Howard (April 22). Their final home Atlantic 10 series will be against Loyola Chicago on April 25–26, before closing the season with a road trip to Rhode Island on May 2–3 (Kingston, R.I.). The A-10 Championship Tournament is scheduled for May 5–9 in St. Louis, Mo.
