George Mason sophomore Ryan Serbia has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Serbia, from Edmond, Okla., won the 100-yard breaststroke (56.34), placed second in both the 200-yard breaststroke (2:03.61) and 200-yard IM (1:56.16), and helped the Patriots take the top spot in the 200-yard medley relay (1:30.41) in a 152-110 win over Old Dominion on Friday, Oct. 3 at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va.
