Six Patriots Travel to Blacksburg for the ITA Regionals

BLACKSBURG, Va. --  The George Mason University's women's tennis team travels to the campus of Virginia Tech to compete in the ITA Regional tournament.
 
Tournament Information
The Patriots will compete in singles and doubles tournament action from Friday to Monday against student-athletes from 23 other teams in the region. The schools competing are Delaware State, Georgetown, George Washington, Howard, James Madison, Liberty, Longwood, Loyola Maryland, Marshall, Maryland, Morgan State, Mount St. Mary's, Navy, Norfolk State, Old Dominion, Richmond, Towson, VCU, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and William & Mary.

Junior Cenan Liu will be competing in the singles Main Draw starting Friday morning. Sophomore Maya Bayat and Senior Maitree Diksha Rout are set to compete in the singles Qualifying Draw on Thursday morning. Liu is set to pair up with Junior Mary Young to compete in the doubles Main Draw. Junior Brooklyn Siegel and Bayat, and Junior Talarek and Rout also pair up to compete in the doubles Main Draw.
 
Up Next
The women's tennis team is set to host a double dual match against Rider University on November 1 at 11 am, with the men's tennis team as a part of their annual alumni event.
