FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University annual Homecoming Tailgate and Gameday Festival will be held in Lot L on Saturday, February 8 from 12-3 p.m.
This location change comes as part of George Mason's ongoing commitment to creating the safest possible environment for our community. As a result, the decision has been made to move the festival and tailgate from its traditional location in Lot A to Lot L in 2025. The alumni tent also will move to Lot L this year.
Load in will begin at 11 a.m. for registered vehicles and closes at 12 p.m. The pedestrian entrance will open at 12 p.m.

clicking here. There will be no day-of-sales of parking permits – they must be secured in advance.
The men's basketball game vs. Rhode Island will follow the tailgate and festival and will tip at 4 p.m inside EagleBank Arena.
The Homecoming Tailgate and Festival is a collaboration with George Mason's Department of Police & Public Safety, the Athletic Department, University Life and the Alumni Association.

The George Mason Athletic Department partners with University Life, Student Involvement the Alumni Association and more to host the marquee week of events on the George Mason Schedule. Come out to the Johnson Center for the new Homecoming Rally at the Court on Monday, February 3 from 12-2 p.m. And don't miss the Homecoming Headliner, SNL's Sara Sherman on February 6 at 6 p.m. inside the Center for the Arts. It all culiminates with the annual Homecoming Festival and Tailgate in Lot L on Saturday from 12-3 p.m., followed by the men's basketball game on 4 p.m. vs. Rhode Island inside EagleBank Arena.
