Ali Tyler has been selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team for the third straight year, the conference announced on Thursday.
Tyler, a native of Cheshire, Conn., won three individual A-10 titles and three relay medals at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships.
Tyler, a forensic science major, won the A-10 championship in the 100-yard freestyle, claiming the gold medal with an A-10 Conference meet record time (48.84). She won the A-10 title in the 100-yard backstroke for the third straight year, winning the gold with a NCAA-B time (53.48). Tyler also captured the A-10 title in the 50-yard freestyle, claiming the gold medal for the third straight year (22.78).
As a member of three relay teams, Tyler helped the Patriots to a silver medal in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:19.37), the bronze medal in the 400-yard medley relay (3:39.96) and the bronze in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:31.57).
Tyler finished the 2023-24 season with 24 individual top-three performances with 13 first place, six second place and five third place finishes.
In addition to being named to the A-10 All-Academic Team three consecutive years, she is a three-time member of the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
