Fairfax, Va. -- The Howard Bison defeated the Patriots in women's tennis today in a match played at the George Mason Tennis Complex.

Howard (8-9) earned the doubles point to begin the match with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 positions.

The Bison clinched the match after earning three singles points at No. 5, 6, and 3 spots. Imani Jean defeated the Patriots senior Jenin Alasadi, 6-2, 6-0 for the first singles point at No. 5. Dana Hall won the match against Maïly Faur at No. 6 before match point was claimed at No. 3 singles. 

The Patriots celebrated its Senior Day prior to the home match against Howard. Jenin Alasadi, Ruju Chauhan, Dana Edson, Maïlys Faur, and Emily Wirt were honored for their contributions to the program.
