Baltimore, Md. -- The Loyola Greyhounds defeated the Patriots in women's tennis today at the 

Loyola got on the board first with a sweep in doubles action followed with a win at No. 2 singles. 

Mason's Emily Wirt defeated Tracy, 6-3, 6-3, at the top singles spot to earn the Patriots first point.

After Loyola made it 3-1 with a win at No. 4 singles, Mason's Cenan Liu defeated Tankimovich, 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3 singles to cut the lead to 3-2. The freshman has won three consecutive matches.

The Greyhounds clinch the match with a win at No. 4 singles.

The Patriots will celebrate its Senior Day tomorrow at 10:45 am prior to the home match against Howard at 11 am.
