FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University rowing program will host the annual Mason Invitational on Sunday at Sandy Run Regional Park in Fairfax Station, Va.
Racing will begin at 10 a.m. and run through approximately 2:30 p.m. The regatta will feature crews from Bucknell, Delaware, Duquesne, Eastern Michigan, George Washington, Loyola (Md.), Robert Morris, Saint Joseph's, Villanova and West Virginia.
"We're really excited to be hosting teams from all over the region," head coach Joseph Richard said. "The Mason Invite is something our team looks forward to every year. We've built a quality event with strong racing and good sportsmanship and we can't wait for Sunday."
The Patriots will race a quartet of boats, including two eights and two fours. After morning heats from 10 a.m.-11:20 a.m., petite and grand finals will begin at 1 p.m.
