FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's lacrosse team will return home to George Mason Stadium on Thursday to host Howard in a midweek matchup.
The meeting will mark just the second in program history. The last time to two teams met in Washington, D.C. in 2022, the Patriots picked up a convincing 18-5 victory.
The last time out, Howard fell to DC rival American, 14-9, at home. On the other hand, Mason downed Kent State on the road, 13-6, to move to 3-0 on the season.

- After another strong performance at Kent State, Shannon Tuozzo continues to lead the Patriots with 10 points on a team-high nine goals with an assist
- Also leading the offense, Dahlia Trippel and Chloe Reed have both tallied seven goals while Kate Elam has dished out a team-best six assists

SCOUTING THE BISON
Howard sits at 0-2 after two losses to DC rivals to open the season. In its' season opener at A-10 member George Washington, the Bison fell 21-7. They then dropped their home opener to American last week, 14-9.
Quai Skeete-Ridley leads the Bison with five points on four goals and an assist. Chloe Ronsholdt has dished out a team-high two assists while adding two goals for the Bison.
Defensively, Gabrielle Nelson has grabbed a team-high 13 draw controls, scooped up eight ground balls and caused three turnovers. She has also tallied three points on two goals and an assist. In net, Logan Ford has played all 120 minutes and is averaging 9.0 saves and a .340 save percentage.
