FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University men's tennis team (2-3) looks to continue its winning streak with a pair of intra-state matches this weekend.

First up, Mason heads to Harrisonburg for an 8 p.m. match Saturday vs. James Madison (1-4). Live results for that match are available by clicking here.

Then, the Patriots continue south for a Sunday affair vs. Virginia Tech (5-1). First serve is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Live video and live results are available for the matchup with the Hokies.

The Green & Gold are coming off a 7-0 sweep of Loyola (Md.) on Feb. 10 in Burke. The Patriots took two of three doubles matches, then won every singles contest in straight sets during a dominant performance.

Two Patriots have put together outstanding starts to their dual singles slate. Junior Jacco Arends is 4-1 to begin the campaign, including a 2-1 mark at No. 2 and 2-0 record at No. 3. That improves his overall singles record to 9-4 on the season.

Graduate student Momin Khan is back healthy this season after battling injury in 2022-23. The results show it, as Khan is 4-1 this dual season at the No. 4 position.

After this weekend's matches, the Patriots take a competitive respite before heading to Hilton Head for the annual PTR Springfest March 2-10.
