Atlantic 10 release

FAIRFAX, Va. - Freshman Alex Crown has been named Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week, the league announced.

Crown, from Gainesville, Va., won both the 1000-yard freestyle (9:30.80) and 200-yard IM (1:54.09) and placed second in the 200-yard backstroke (1:53.80) in the Patriots 188-110 dual victory over UMBC on Saturday.

The Patriots are back in action at the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships Feb. 21-24 in Hampton, Va.
