Fairfax, Va.-The Patriots competed in two different meets this weekend, one at Virginia Tech and another at Lexington for the VMI Team Challenge. There have been new additions to the All-Time list as well in different events.
Virginia Tech's Hokie Invitational:
Susan Adenitan finished the 60m dash with a time of 7.65 and later on competed in the 200m achieving a personal best with a time of 25.17. Abdurrazzaq Hassan also broke his personal best record in the long jump after finishing with a mark of 1.89m. Geni Roberts fought hard to achieve a new personal best in triple jump, getting a mark of 15.22m after facing tough competition. The women's pole vault had three new personal bests recorded, Sidney Mays and Marley Oare both completed their turns with 3.55m and Brooke Gunter achieved a new personal best with 3.25m. The men's pole vault, Brody Myers equaled his personal best (4.75m) and Nick Scott achieved a new personal best, 4.60m. Adia Palmer improved her time from last week's meet in the 600m, finishing the race with a time of 1:39.42.
VMI Team Challenge:
Joziah Johnson broke a personal record in the men's 60m dash completing it in 8.65 seconds. Yashika Chidirala completed the 1 mile run with a time of 5:38.74 and the return of Nourene Nabbus and Katryna Aulenbach began with the women's 3000m race, Nabbus completing it with a time of 10:40.59 and Aulenbach finishing in 10:49.67 minutes. In the men's 600m run, George Mason took over the spots from 2nd to 4th. Nathan Polizzi finished 2nd with a time of 1:22.48. Justin Penny placed 3rd achieving a personal record (1:23.13) and Nadim Abdu also broke his personal record finishing with a time of 1:23.25. All three student-athletes made it to the All-Time list for the 600m event. Kai Muniz also made his return to the track competing in the 3000m placing in 3rd with a time of 8:47.51. Michael Baker achieved a personal best on shot put with a mark of 12.79m and Chloe Shepherd also achieved a personal best in the women's shot put getting a mark of 9.54m. Fiona Agyekum finished fourth in the women's shot put with a mark of 11.17m.

The next meet will be at home, Fairfax, VA at the Field House for the Patriot Games.
