FULL SCHEDULE
FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University women's tennis team has released its 2024 spring schedule, which includes eight home matches, and three in-state road contests against Mary Washington, William & Mary, and VCU.
The Patriots start their spring season with trip to VCU on January 26 at 6 p.m.
The Green & Gold then hit the road to play Mary Washington (Feb 10 at 11 a.m.) and Navy (Feb 11 at 10 a.m.) on a weekend swing.
The Patriots then return home to face Delaware State at the Burke Racquet & Swim Club on February 17 at 6:45 p.m. Then, back at BRSC a week later, the Patriots will open their Atlantic 10 conference play against Richmond on February 24 at 6:45 p.m.
George Mason will then take a trip to the Tidewater area to play William & Mary on February 25 at 1 p.m.
The Patriots will then head to Hilton Head, S.C. for spring break from March 2 – 10 where they will compete in PTR Spring Tennis Fest. The team will be one of roughly 70 women's programs there from across the country.
Returning to Fairfax, George Mason will host a string of home games, starting on March 15 at 2 p.m. against Rhode Island. Next, the Mt. St. Mary's Mountaineers will come to George Mason to compete at 3:30 p.m. on March 19. Then, crosstown rival GW comes to Fairfax for an A-10 match up on March 22 at 2 p.m.
The team then hits the road for a two-day road trip to Philadelphia where they will face host Saint Joseph's (March 29 at 2 p.m.) and St. Bonaventure (March 30 at 11 a.m.)
Then the Patriots will head to Loyola Maryland on April 5 for a match before returning home for a two-match homestand against Howard (April 6 at 11 a.m.) and Hampton (April 10 at 2 p.m.). They then will loop north to play Towson on April 12 at 3 p.m. and Maryland on April 13 at 4 p.m.
George Mason will finish its season at the Atlantic-10 tournament in Orlando, Fl. from April 23 to 28.
