FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason lacrosse head coach
Kara Mupo has announced that a transfer will join the team beginning in the fall of 2023.
Dahlia Trippel, a rising sophomore defender, will join the Patriots from Division II Frostburg State after playing her freshman season as a Bobcat.
A local product out of Ashburn, Va., Trippel graduated from Briar Woods with four varsity levels in lacrosse and three in cross country/track and field. She earned three All-District nods, including a first team honor in 2022. She also was named to the All-Region and All-State First Teams in the same year.
During her freshman year at Frostburg State, Trippel appeared in all 19 games with 11 starts and was fifth on the team with 24 goals. She was also second on the team with 33 draw controls, fourth with 23 ground balls and also contributed 13 caused turnovers and nine assists.
