Grace Furlong has been named to the Women's
Outdoor Track & Field
All-Academic Team and six student-athletes have been named to the All-Rookie Team.
This is Furlong's third A-10 All-Academic nomination and second this year.
Furlong is from Waterford, Ireland, and is pursuing her Master's in Public Administration. She finished 41st at NCAA Regionals, recording 12.25 meters in her triple jump. Earlier in the season, she notched the silver in the A-10 Championship (12.67m) and grabbed third at the Meet of Champions and fourth at the IC4A/ECAC Championships (11.88m, 12.56m).
She won the long jump event at the A-10 Championship (6.02m) and grabbed the silver in the triple jump (12.67m). She also won the long jump at the Navy Invitational II (5.97m) and the Dalton Ebanks Invitational (5.88m). At the Meet of Champions, she earned second in the long jump (5.92m) and third in the triple jump (11.88m).
The Academic All-Conference teams comprise of student-athletes who were selected based on their performance, as well as in the classroom. To be nominated, runners must have a GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.
All-Rookie Team

Teneal Els made the women's team. Jones, Jenkins, Asare and Walcott were also named to the All-Rookie team during the indoor season.
Micah Jones was named the A-10's Male Rookie of the Outdoor Championship for placing third in the 100m (10.58) and fourth in the long jump (7.35m). He took gold in the 4x100m at the Meet of Champions (41.03) and in the long jump (7.28m).
Robbie Jenkins ran his fastest 10k in 6th at the A-10 Championships (30:04.92). He placed 3rd in the 5k at the Meet of Champions (14:29.31).
Albert Asare ran the 110m hurdles at a speed of 14.70 seconds at the Navy Invitational II. He won the 110m hurdles at the Fred Hardy Invitational (15.38) and came in 4th at the Meet of Champions (14.73).
Aidan Walcott recorded his best high jump at the Meet of Champions at 1.98m (2nd). At the Colonial Relays, he won the high jump (1.95m).
Walt Bannerman posted his best pole vault at the Navy Invitational II at 4.71m in 4th. He placed 9th at the Meet of Champions at 4.50m.
Teneal Els recorded her best discus throw at the IC4A/ECAC Championships at 45.21m in 6th. She earned second in the discus at the Colonial Relays (41.77m) and 5th at the Navy Invitational II (41.96m).
The All-Rookie teams comprise the top-rookie performer in each event from meets conducted from the start of the outdoor season through the Atlantic 10 Championships.
