Kate Elam led the Patriots with two goals and a career-high six draw controls. Elam's two goals mark her sixth-straight multi-point game.

Shannon Tuozzo converted a free position goal of her own just over two minutes later to cut the lead back to three, but a six-goal run by UMass pushed the lead to 10-2.
The Patriots (2-13, 2-7) took advantage of a player-opportunity with Elam's second goal of the game to stop the run, but UMass locked down on defense and did not allow another Mason goal until the fourth quarter.
Senior
Chloe Reed scored the Patriots' fourth goal of the game, but UMass scored the game's final four goals to provide the final tally.
