Fairfax, Va.— The George Mason wrestling team fell, 26-16, tonight against Hofstra in Hempstead, NY.
 
The Green and Gold (10-5, 2-2) received points from Markel Baker, Nathan Higley, Peter Pappas, and Drew Dickson.

Freshman Markel Baker (125) won a 6-2 decision to move to a team-leading 23 wins this season. Baker ranks second in the MAC rankings in the February poll posted yesterday, up a spot from January's poll.

Nathan Higley got back on the winning track with his seventh fall of the season. Peter Pappas continues his successful grad campaign with a 6-1 decision to go to 16-2 at 157.

Drew Dickson earned a 15-5 major decision against Matt Rogers (165) for the Patriots final points.
