FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's tennis team will host Delaware State on Saturday at the Burke Racquet and Swim Club beginning at 6:45pm.
 
The Green and Gold (1-0) return to action after a successful opening match 5-2 win against Loyola (Md) last weekend. In that match, the Patriots won four of the six matches with victories by La, Garcia, Fitz-Patrick, and Nannery.

The Patriots have won three straight against the Hornets, including a 5-2 win last season. In that match, Paige La, Ashley Fitz-Patrick, and Jackie Nannery earned singles wins. Delaware State last defeated Mason during the 2004-05 season on their home courts.

Mason will travel to Mary Washington next Saturday for its first road match of the season. The match with the Eagles begins at 11am.
